FACEIT Major New Challengers stage fifth round matchups determined

The fifth round matchups, which will be played in best-of-three series, have been determined by the Buchholz seeding system.

Over the course of day four, we saw three teams join Liquid and Ninjas in Pyjamas in the New Legends stage, as Astralis took down Spirit while HellRaisers and Complexity grabbed overtime wins over OpTic and Vega Squadron, respectively, to go 3-1 in the Swiss format.

Three more teams have also been eliminated from the tournament, with Renegades, Gambit, and Rogue going 1-3 after losing their fourth-round matchups.

BIG and OpTic will duke it out for a spot in the New Legends stage in the fifth round

The Buchholz seeding (a sum of opponents' scores) for round five looks as follows:
